Purpose: This demo page shows how the aviation dashboard displays different flight restriction levels based on weather conditions.

The system uses a concentric restriction model where more restrictive conditions automatically apply to all less experienced pilot categories.

Flight Category Legend

Category A: No solo restrictions in effect
Category B: Student pilot solos restricted (surface winds >15 kt, crosswind >10 kt, ceiling <1,500 ft AGL, or visibility <3 SM)
Category C: Private pilot solos restricted (surface winds >25 kt or crosswind >15 kt)
Category D: Instrument/Commercial solos restricted (surface winds >30 kt or crosswind >20 kt)
Category F: No flights — airport closed per announcement

Note: Categories B/C/D are also triggered by ceiling <1,500 ft AGL, visibility <3 SM, or temperature/heat index thresholds. The highest applicable category takes precedence (D > C > B > A).
